Business Support & Office Manager - Leigh on Sea

We are looking for an organised, proactive and confident Business Support & Office Manager to coordinate key business support functions across the company, including systems development, training, compliance, document management, facilities, fleet administration and office operations

This varied role will focus on improving how information, procedures and training resources are managed and accessed across the business. Strong IT skills will be important, as you will help develop and maintain the company intranet, training platforms, and document management systems, while supporting compliance, governance, accreditations, and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the company intranet, training portal, and internal information systems.
  • Coordinate training records, inductions, and renewal requirements.
  • Maintain controlled documents, policies, procedures, and company records.
  • Support compliance activity, audits, accreditations, and governance requirements.
  • Assist with supplier, contractor, facilities, and fleet administration.
  • Manage facilities and workplace management tasks working with cleaning and maintenance staff.

About You

You will be highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities. Strong administration, communication, stakeholder management, and IT skills are essential.

Experience in compliance, business systems, facilities management, document control, training coordination, or a similar business support role would be beneficial. Experience with intranet, learning or document management platforms would be an advantage.

  • Good IT skills, with confidence using business systems, Microsoft Office, and digital platforms.
  • Experience maintaining policies, procedures, or controlled documentation.
  • Confidence working with managers, suppliers, and external advisors.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, records, and compliance requirements accurately.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to improvement.
