Able & Havens Corporate Sponsorship

We’re proud to announce that Able Group has officially joined the Havens Hospices Corporate Membership Scheme as a Gold Member. By signing up to this programme, we are reinforcing our commitment to supporting vital local causes and playing an active role in the communities where we live and work.

Over the past two years, we have been proud to support a range of their fundraising initiatives across Southend-on-Sea.

Each year, Havens Hospices partners with Southend United Football Club to host a charity football match event called Play on the Pitch, bringing together local businesses through donated players, sponsorship, and fundraising. Able Group has been delighted to be part of this community event, which raises both funds and awareness for such an important cause.

We also proudly supported the Havens Hospices’ recent Waddle‑on‑Sea art trail as a main sponsor, which featured an array of uniquely painted penguin sculptures displayed across Southend City. As part of our involvement, we had our own sponsored penguin, designed by a talented local artist, and were delighted to purchase it at auction. It is now proudly displayed in our office as a lasting reminder of our involvement and the joy it brought to us as a business and the local community.

Havens Hospices provides compassionate, specialist care to adults, children, and young people living with complex or incurable conditions. Through Fair Havens, supporting adults, and Little Havens, caring for children and young people, their dedicated teams offer expert medical care alongside emotional support for patients and their families.

Their work goes far beyond clinical treatment. Havens Hospices offers comfort, dignity, respite, and guidance at some of life’s most challenging moments, helping individuals live as fully and comfortably as possible while creating precious time and memories with loved ones. We’re incredibly proud to support this work and to display our Gold Corporate Member badge as a symbol of our commitment.
