Credit Controller

  • Location: Leigh on Sea, Essex
  • Salary: £17,553 - £18,991 per annum
  • Job Type: Permanent, full-time

As a member of the Accounts Collections/Admin team your main objective is to identify reasons for non-payment of jobs and then recover monies owing to the company.

This will involve following the process from the initial phone call through to the Small Claims Court, including dealing with Notification of Intent, Judgements and Applications for Warrants, and all associated administrational duties.

The successful candidate will have an established background in accounts, collections and/or credit control. Experience of the justice system is useful but not essential.

You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work accurately to deadlines and have a professional telephone manner. You will also need to be an enthusiastic team player as you will be required to support other members of the accounts team when required.
