Able Glaze began in 1993 as an Emergency Glazing & Boarding service covering both domestic and commercial properties within London and Essex. Covering breakages from a small lead light window through to a large shopfront window. Over the next four/five years we were able to expand the areas served, and provide coverage throughout the UK. In 1998 we became a fully nationwide service and renamed the company Able Glaze UK.
In 2000, we moved to our spacious new state–of-the-art offices in Progress Road, providing us with a call centre that could operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our customers would always be able to talk to a fully trained member of staff day or night. In 2001 we launched our locksmith service and within 24 months expanded this service to again provide our customers with a complete locksmith service nationwide. Never content with standing still, our services were expanded further in 2005 to include plumbing and drainage services. This service is still growing and is currently on plan to provide a nationwide service by the end of 2007. We have also very recently started a new service in Electrical repairs and installation which at present covers London and Essex but again we will be expanding this area of expertise to a national basis by end of 2008.
Our aim as a company is to provide a service that is second to none, and our procedures are continuously under review to ensure that targets are being met, and we have won several awards for our customer service. Our offices are manned 24 hours a day 365 days a year, so our customers never have to speak to an answering machine. Our experienced Staff are always on hand to take your call personally, ready to pass the details on to our network of engineers up and down the country. The progress of the job is then carefully monitored from the initial call through to job completion, with regular updates on job progress and arrival times relayed directly to the customer. Our modern fleet of vehicles are fully stocked so that wherever possible the work can be completed within the first visit to site.
Our work is approved by many major insurance companies in both Domestic and Commercial properties. Some of our regular customers include a number of County Councils, government buildings, facilities management companies, as well as many of the well-known high street retailers, and we are also on the recommended emergency contractor list for the police.
